Stunning venue with a view of the lake , so tranquil . Ducks wander around peacefully even saw a lovely Egyptian geese and ducklings swimming on the pond , kids can bring their fishing rods and take a try in the bond . Views spectacular. Had the springbok lion steak was done to perfection and melt in your mouth .my partner had the fillet steak also was perfect. Only drawback was the dessert , my chocolate fondant was not fully cooked and had caved in which you can see by the pics ..so I could only eat around it and not the middle . When the waiter did eventually arrive I did bring this to his attention and showed him how much was left. He said he will mention it to the chef but I doubt he did . Service was very slow , when I received my springbok it was already room temperature, bordering on cold and not warm ,however I did not want to complain about this as it took quite a while for the food to arrive so I was afraid of further waiting . The waiters took very long to arrive between each course or to take orders, although in fairness they did have a number of big family type tables on that day ,so this could be the reason . The cheesecake that my partner had was average but tasty. The view made it all worth while though as u didn't mind the wait as much as there was so much to absorb. A great place to try and family friendly with play area for smaller kids outside and the lake for kids to do their fishing.

I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect venue for the occasion. The food was outstanding, surpassing our expectations, and it was surprisingly affordable considering it was a special event. The outdoor setup and the surrounding scenery were truly breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the ducks gracefully strolling around, and the backdrop of the mountains added to the overall charm. To ensure our comfort in the chilly weather, they thoughtfully provided blankets and heaters outside. The service, while not exceptional, was understandable given the circumstances of sitting outdoors in the cold. It's possible that the waitstaff's attention might have been affected by these factors. However, it didn't detract significantly from our overall experience.
