Definitely recommend Wandies. Vilakazi is too busy and getting a table is a mission. Plus the food here will not disappoint. Enjoyed the dombolo and beef stew!

*old review* wish I could find my photos of this place. Our department had lunch here when we did a soweto tour a long time ago. I remember the walls being full with business cards/notes from all over with people's signatures on it stuck all over. The food wasn't bad. I wasn't brave enough to try the tripe etc I just stuck to the normal buffet beef and chicken items. :-). This was the go to place for lunch for foreigners before the likes of vilakazi street had major restaurants

My partner and I had a scrumptious supper. Wandis place never disappoint and I love how he engage with her customers.He is also a funny man and very welcoming. I don't mind dining there everyday. Oh and the ambience was out of this world!
