Friendly and accommodating hosts. Trails can do with some work to make it more attractive. Nice tea and confectioneries in a relaxing environment.

A lovely picnic spot for locals. The reserve has a small walk through the woods which is quite peaceful if you're looking for relaxation in nature. Unfortunately, as with most of the government-maintained reserves, amenities and facilities are ill-maintained and could do with an injection of good taxpayer's funds.

Wednesday R45 for bottomless coffee or tea and 3 eats. It's lovely sitting outdoors under the trees. My favourite place to go to on a Wednesday
