We decided to try something different and Jasmine seemed a different option.
The location is rather odd as it's mostly medical practitioners there.
We arrived to a rather lukewarm reception. We opted for the street food side and were not disappointed.
The food was good, especially the beef fillet and chips (great chips). The crispy fried chicken with dipping sauce was very tasty. The butternut soup was divine, had a lovely creamy consistency and beautifully spicy.
The chicken curry was different but in a good way. The naan bread was not what I'm used to, more like a flat bread. Desserts were okay - the strawberry pancake was yum, but I'd reduce the cream, it was a tad too much.
The one thing lacking was the drinks menu - they have a great variety of the virgin cocktails but only had mango and strawberry daiquiri available- found that very strange and disappointing.
The atmosphere was a bit lacking. The service was okay. I'd visit again on a Friday evening to see if our experience is any different.
So this experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
The coffee was weak and lacked taste but the little cookie that it was served with was out of this world, yummy crunches and nutty mmm lovely.
The noodle dish we ordered was served cold and was over spiced and had an overpowering taste of mustard.
The chicken on a skewer with naan was well flavorful but was served cold.
The overall look and feel of the place were good, and the staff was amazing. But the look lacks freshness
Exceptional quality and taste.
Really enjoyed date night at Jasmine Fusion
The butternut soup was devine.
Really enjoyed the Prawn Thermidor and the Kingklip Thermidor
The salad was different but delicious
