Visited this establishment on the day the mall was having issues with their generators. As a result there was a limited service offering. The mall should really get this sorted, as French fries is something most commonly eaten. What started off, as a half-price sushi outing, ended in an amazing dining experience. We had an exceptional waitress, she was so kind and patient. She was only an earshot away and was amazing. The first round of sushi was not the greatest, as it wasn't wrapped well, but when the power returned, it was amazing. Visit these guys and support them, you'll be glad you did and you won't be disappointed.
We were walking around at the mall and got confused about what to eat for lunch, so I decided on John Dory's. We picked their specials, which were Hake and Prawn and 1/4 Chicken and Prawn (each was R139) ; they were absolutely tasty! No doubt... 🦐🍟🍗
A real catch for me was why I loved JD so much; the prawns were dope! In any form of cooking❤️🔥, they nailed it!
It was a good gesture, as they served some popcorn while we were starving and waiting for the food to come 🍿
Thanks to our waitress, Thokozani, who told us about the specials and was attentive as well 🤗
Ordered R95 special, 2 hake, and chips/salad. Very generous portion indeed.
And friendly staff to!
Thank you Lillian and Thando.
Via the grapevine I heard that this restaurant also spoils a local Old Age home.
Highly recommended.
