I went to Tapa Vino last night with a friend for their Wednesday night wine special. Buy one glass of wine, get one free.
It was absolutely lovely. We had so much fun. The wine was great! We both had the Durbanville Hill Merlot Rosè.
For our meal to accompany the wine we chose to have the mini burger platter. The platter came with a mushroom sauce and a cheese sauce - both lovely. A small basket of chips each, three beef burgers and three chicken burgers. This platter was just the thing for us and at such a great price (R150, basically R75 each when split). The quality of the food was so good I will certainly come back for those burgers again soon! As well as the wine 😂
While the restaurant itself was empty with the two of us being the only customers for the majority of the time, the atmosphere was still welcoming and the staff were so kind and friendly!
Over all the evening was such a happy and yummy event. Tapa Vino is a fantastic place to grab a glass of wine with an old friend for a catch up or even just a girl's night out with your greatest friends.
Hubby and I wanted to try something new, found Tapa Vino under newly opened on Zomato and gave it a try. Was pleasently surprised. Friendly service and good food! We loved the way the food was presented. Attention to hospitality like a blanket for a cold winter night.
Lovely friendly service from the owner! It was a cold night yet, nothing stopped us from having the most luscious drink of my life- a blue velvet martini exclusively obtainable only from this place. Brilliantly set out in an environment wherein one can enjoy a lovely conversation with a variety of tapas! The meatballs have a full body of rich Tomato and are cooked to perfection. If you love tapas you have to go to this joint. The cakes looked pretty brilliant and I can sincerely say, that if I were to throw a small function i would any day go for this place. Thanks tapaVino for having us.
