On arrival at Blackmores Modern Rustic Eatery, we were greeted with a warm welcoming.
The service is great and the food is excellent.
Would recommend to everyone to visit this restaurant at least once.
A lovely new addition te the blossoming Village! Comfort food at its best! The mac and cheese is creamy and dreamy, and the pork belly tender with crispy crackling!!
For dessert we loved the maple bacon ice cream! Service was very attentive and prompt. Think this is a real rough diamond.

13.01.2018 Took a drive in this hot heat to join some friends for a delicious lunch. I like this area of Pretoria as its filled with little gems to eat and so much to explore.
We indulged in various wines and I also enjoyed my favourite Dragon Fiery Ginger Beer. The staff were friendly and I liked the simple decor of the place.
For starters we shared the Chicken Wings marinated in Buttermilk - crumbed and deep fried, and the Tater skins which come with Bacon, Onion flakes, melted Cheddar and Sour cream. Fantastic flavours and cooked perfectly.
For mains I was going to give the BIG Bad Wolf Burger a try but I'm such a ribs person so I had to try the Cherry Bourbon Ribs, and it comes with 2 sides. Quite a selection for sides, chips / coleslaw / mash etc but I went for the pan roasted potatoes and something completely different for me - Mac & Cheese. Sadly I was not sold on the Mac & Cheese. The pan roasted potatoes were really yummy and so were my ribs. My only complaint is that my Ribs were not warm at all, it was practically room temperature.
My friends indulged in their Ribs, Burger options and even the Braised Beef and Mash. So happy tummies all around and a great afternoon with laughter for the soul.
