This is by far the best Cattle Baron that I have been to. Situated in the Saxenburg wine farm.

Service has been excellent every time I’ve been there and the food is cooked to perfection.

Today I had the deep fried crumbed Camembert for starter, and also tried the crumbed mushrooms. I’ve had the carpetbagger steak before which was excelllent, but today I had the roasted pork belly, with mustard mash. The Saxenburg Cabernet wine is also very good.

The complimentary spinach and pumpkin is always great.

I would recommend this place to anyone.

A lovely dinner with the bf. Service very good; elegant setting on the wine farm, lovely view and really good food.
For starters I had the mussels-beautifully creamy white wine garlic sauce. Bf had the prawn cocktail starter; the sauce was good but way too little and the prawns far too few. For mains we had the chartebraind (?) steak to share.......it was absolutely perfect. The best basting I've ever tasted. Just awesome

On Saturday afternoon, I went and ordered a 1kg beef ribs with potato and sour cream on the side. Out of all restaurants I have enjoyed beef ribs before this place has the most succulent and generous portions of ribs that I have ever enjoyed. Will defenitely return again; you guys are double tops.
