As a newcomer to the Maboneng Precinct this spot is fast becoming one of my go-to’s for a delectable coffee and croissant en route to work or a delicious sandwich when I need a lunch time pick me up and a quick spot of sun. Perhaps slightly on the pricey side for sandwiches, though I suppose one cannot complain too much as their bread, bagels and croissants are always fresh and service is always on point 👌🏼

Absolutely love the coffee and croissants from this lovely little coffee shop in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is Maboneng.
Saturday morning market set up adds to the uniqueness of the experience: being able to have a quick chat with the stall owners greatly added to the morning.

Came to Uncle Merv's because almost everything else was closed on Easter Sunday and we also wanted to try something new. The carrot cake was brilliant and the smoothies were one of the best I had ever tasted but the prices were quite high. Overall, it was a nice experience.
