Milky lane Montecasino was sadly disappointing, perhaps because it was later in the evening, they seemed to have prepared our order with a sort of thrown together feel, ice-cream was melted, no presentation effort made and the ice-cream float tasted horrible, the Fanta was flat and there was ice particles in the soda while the ice-cream had melted on the top, it was put on the table with no plate under it so when my son tried to put his straw in, it messed all over the table, the sauces for the waffles were mostly empty and we had to ask to fill the chocolate sauce, there wasn't enough cuttlery or napkins put on the table and they literally didn't even wait for us to get up before they started putting our chairs up. It was seriously a horrible and rushed experience. I understand it was after 10pm but it was a Friday night and if it closes at 11 or 12 then they should still be giving customers the service they're paying for.
After my initial review I was contacted by Nazreen who kept following up to apologize and say that the staff were made aware of the issues I had. I like that they have been proactive in a resolution and they are focused on service. I understand the human element when it comes to dealing with the public and high volumes of customers so I certainly appreciate the follow up calls. Been there twice since then with no issues.
