If you looking for really healthy food great spot. Early mornings best time to go there. The apple, lime and ginger juice is really good and avo on toast👌🏻
The waitress need to learn the menu though they seem flabbergasted at times.
Great coffee
The staff are really friendly and pretty on the ball.
Shared a brainiac salad which was very tasty and full of flavour as well as a dish called awaken which had a succulent chicken breast, however the accompanying couscous was too bland for my taste.
The place even though quite small was full, which created a chilled outdoor/indoor feel.
Will be back soon.
If they keep up the service and quality it could be a local.
I am a huge fan of Nu. Having studied in Cape Town, I visited the green point Nu more times than I should have on my student budget! So obviously I was excited when I learnt that they were coming to my home town Durban! I have been a couple times in the last few weeks and I must say the food is up to the standard of their Cape Town branches. However, the service is lacking. When full, there are often dirty tables and you have to ask for dirty plates to be removed. Today they forgot to make my breakfast order and after asking twice, it arrived when everyone at my table had finished their food. Other than this, their food and smoothies are terrific. Favorites are the protein flapjacks, the hearty wrap (they have gf wraps for R15 extra!) and the blueberry riefer smoothie!
