The food was delicious, and everything tasted fresh. Having a fresh juice with open windows for natural airflow is such a good feeling. The customer service was wonderful; the waitress made sure the eggs were cooked to my liking by asking if I wanted the scrambled eggs hard or medium. The noise level is also not too loud for a place that can sit many people!

This was our first visit to Mayfair Cafe in Durban North. The weather was not great it was drizzling and it was just after Church on Sunday. We were there around 11am. The place was buzzing with several people waiting outside for a spot to dine. It was just two of us, so we were immediately ushered in and the waitress was there promptly with the table already set and sanitized etc. We were taken through the refreshments and hot drinks by our awesome Waitress. She was brilliant and definitely lent a pleasant experience to want to return. I ordered a MoccaChino and a toasted raisin bun with Marmalade to begin with. Mrs and I shared it. It was fresh, and toasted and buttery delicious. The marmalade added that additional #Umami. Mrs ordered hot chocolate and the waitress ensured it was exactly how she wanted it. So attention to detail, perfect 🥰. I ordered the Cowboy beans on toast with bacon and soft runny eggs Sunnyside up. Look at the picture, exactly how it was served. I switched the hash brown for a brown toast. I dislike hash brown 😒. Mrs ordered the breakfast with avos and grilled chicken and half done egg with the yolk just set. Again look at the picture, exactly how she wanted it. I asked for some hot sauce and I was served a bottle of Frankie's Habanero sauce. Very delicious with good heat, but flavourful. Sort of had a ripe fruity taste. Unfortunately I didn't like the beans, it was mushy and tasted close to beans curry 🤣. I would have enjoyed Baked beans instead. The rest was delicious. Will we back, definitely, why? Everything I said above. And did I mention that I ordered carrot cake for takeaway? Well it was very good, because my Daughter and Mrs gulped it down at home... okay they enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend this Restaurant. #CurryCulture 🌶 blog owner... RLR
