The best oysters i've had in Cape Town! The restaurant is in a food hall and the vibes are very cozy. The menu is pretty small which I like. I was a big fan of the oyster shot. Everything is very reasonably priced and tastes so good! We ordered a total of 6 oysters and unfortunately found shells in at least 3 of them but I still found them to be fresh and delicious enough that it did not take away from my experience.

Love this oyster and bubbles bar. Service is great, oysters and mussels are some of the best I’ve had. And mojo is always a vibe!

The Mussel Monger & Oyster Bar touts itself as the finest premium oysters and mussels in South Africa. Honestly, I wouldn't know b/c I've only had theirs. Yet their quality stands amongst the best I've ever eaten anywhere in the world! As well, I was rather impressed w/ the friendly server who was super knowledgeable. A very positive experience, altogether.
