We visited this tucked away burger bar last week, Friday for dinner with friends from out of town.
Though it is small, we were one of two tables frequenting the place, which didn't make us feel cramped.
We of course had the burgers (one person wanted the pork ribs, but they were out), and enjoyed it - wasn't the best we've ever had, but hit the spot. Plus points: fries were good, patty was well seasoned and bun was well toasted. 3 of us had the JFK and the other the Wahlburger. Another plus, two parking areas are within walking distance - which does play a role when deciding on dinner in town.
I can't understand why this place isn't packed on a daily basis. The food is absolutely amazing! The beer is great and location is perfect.
So Saturday night ... Looking for some burgers, we find Boston. Pretty chilled, manger Duane playing some killer Funkanomic tracks and we decide to order some burgers. Went for the JFK... Service was speedy and food was really fantastic, the mere fact it comes on a brioche bun (not sure why more burger joints don't use this pillar of hamburger making beats me) great beef patty, yummy mature cheddar, stunning bread and butter pickle and the good ol' mayo. Was a really good eating experience will be back .... Brioche bun for the win.
