Very nice restaurant which because it is on the first floor was much quieter than the ones below. Sadly it was so quiet it lacked atmosphere. But the food was great and the service was đź‘Ť
Lovely place to grab a bite and a drink on a sunny day, great views and amazing pizza! Service is good, gets a little slow when the place is packed. I ordered two pizzas, one was a California the other a Chicken Prego. The thin crust base was absolutely amazing, crispy and thin and the toppings were fresh and hot when they arrived. Waiting time was respectable, my pizzas arrived within 20min after placing my order. I also had a Hoegaarden beer on tap, the beer was crisp and lovely!
We went for dinner on a Monday evening. It was a huge place with lots of tables so we could walk in and get a seat. The staff were friendly and efficient in taking our orders. In terms of authenticity, I wouldn’t say it is like a real Italian restaurant, but more like the dishes have been adapted to South african taste. We had the Recco classico pasta (with chicken) and the salmon trout, both were good. Portions were huge.
