We ended up here for dinner as we were kind of late and wanted a quick meal. And it didn't disappoint at all! It is very good fish and especially very nice batter and tartar sauce. Really good prices for the quality you get. Nice service as well. Can recommend to anyone who wants a delicious fish and chips in Uitenhage!

This is THE one and only place to enjoy PROPER café-style fish and chips. A refreshingly traditional take on classic food that is sadly disappearing among all the franchised fodder outlets. Take away or eat in, the food is always freshly prepared so be prepared to wait a few minutes. The coleslaw is the best I have ever had anywhere and their chips (french fries to Americans) are simply in a class of their own as they are freshly hand made from fresh potatoes. They understand how to make a pot of good tea and the impeccably clean (halaal) kitchen is visible from the service counter. Amazing food at ridiculously low prices!
