Very good spot to eat, chill with the kids, or unwind after walking one of their 2 trails (1km & 5km).
Trails are well maintained and have some beautiful scenery.
Toilets at the hiking trail are absolutely stunning. It is basically a nature bunker.
Bring cash with for the honesty box when partaking in the trails.
Apart from the trails and the restaurant, they also have a little shop where you can purchase homemade foods and unique homemade items. This is what one expects a little farmers' market ought to be like.
With regards to the food, the food is really tasty. My only complaint is that it is so bloody delicious, one yearns for more.
Along the trail, you would find horses, donkeys, and ducks. The one donkey in particular seems to be a bit of an inspiration to the establishment. Wilbur is a donkey that has his own accolades documented and immortalised on signs at the trail entrance. He seems to be the herald of the property.
There is plenty of on-site parking, with more immediately across the street.
The staff are quite friendly and eager to assist.
The smoking area is outside in the on-site parking lot.
Sufficient toilets have been strategically placed around the property, so you need not hit the bush.
We has a breakfast team meeting, scheduled and booked for 8 am. That morning was cooold! We got there, had to wait for the heater/s to be switched on. Our food took a while but I attributed this to us being the 1st customers.
Good place and good food. Maybe I will ha e a different experience when it is warmer and I am not one of the 1st customers🙂
Enjoyable atmosphere. The food was above average with interesting flavor choices. The strawberry milkshake was also somewhat different tasting from others I have had at other establishments; but in a good way. Didn't get a chance to go to the farmstall or bakery but will be returning to try the 5km hiking trail.
