We had a lovely breakfast! We arrived just after 08:00 and were the first people there - they lit the fireplace for us, which always adds to the cosiness of the atmosphere.
Around the table we had milkshakes, cappuccino and rooibos tea, all the drinks were lovely!
For breakfast we had a variety of roosterkoek and everything was delicious! They have such a nice way of serving the condiments in glass jars - you'll have more than enough of all the toppings, eg. Butter, fine biltong, biltong paste, cheese and jam. The home-made chutney was also soooooooo nice!
The variety of products in the shop is quite diverse, with many wool products, socks, slippers, beanies, etc as well as home-made cookies and rusks and a brilliant variety of flavored Carmien rooibos teas.
Beautiful spot leaving Cradock for PE. Unfortunately the coffee wasn't great, but then we are very fussy about our coffee. Cheesecake tasted delicious
For what it is, a roadside pad stall literally in the middle of nowhere. It came heaven sent.
