Had an amazing lunch here. The view is spectacular and the service is on point. We had chicken livers, bone marrow, pork chops and the selection of game meats. Everything was super tasty - I was not a fan of the bbq sauce and would have preferred it on the side than on my meat, but that’s more of a personal thing. Would definitely recommend. One thing to note, the bay can be a bit smelly from time to time!
I dined at this restaurant seven years ago and it literally remained impressed in my mind, so much that I couldn't wait to return once more.
Very elegant location on the water front.
Welcoming staff which illustrated the me the main best selling cuts of meat.
Everything was absolutely delicious from the homemade bread, accompanied with napoletana meat sauce, the grilled marrow, the absolutely delicious and mouthwatering mixed game kebab, and finishing with the Ferrero Roche fantasy.
Impressive selection of wine...newspapers size...
Very attentive and professional staff.
One of the 10 ten best restaurants I've ever been around the world...
Visited on Saturday for an early dinner, the place was actually very full considering the bad weather. So, no, really outdoor seats were available.
Deborah is always very cheerful when engaging with the customers and very professional. We were quickly offered our water for the table and then drinks were taken. We decided to skip starters given our mains were so big.
For mains, we went with the Chicago cut, which is a 500g rib eye on the bone with parmesan mash potato and a side béarnaise sauce.
Would likely recommend their version, whilst there are a few places who offer it in Cape Town finding a good quality béarnaise is hard work.
The meat was so tender and succulent, definitely a food steak!
So do yourself a favour and pop in the next time you are in the mood for a quality steak, great sides and a general excellent meal.
