We've been wanting to visit the "new" Tides for months and finally did so last night. What a wonderful experience! Great ambience, excellent service (thank you Arnold) and probably the best food we've had since moving to Betty's Bay 2 years ago. I had the butternut soup as starter, followed by the house steak (sirloin) done to perfection. Jaques thoroughly enjoyed mussels as a starter and pork belly. After deliberating for a while, we decided to settle on crème brûlée and a nougat ice cream cake for dessert...heaven! Our compliments to chef Hanno for a memorable culinary experience. We'll be back.

We’ve been visiting Betty’s Bay for two days and had dinner at The Tides both nights. Awesome meals and great ambiance. It’s not noisy but has a lovely chatty buzz. We ate Pork Belly and two starters this evening, the Springbok Carpaccio and Salmon. Last night the Mussel starter to share, Mediterranean Chicken and Hake. All generous and very tasty. Well done. Will return

What a wonderfull place. Service wonderfull. Best tuna I had in a long wile. My 9 year old said 5 stars for the ice cream cake. We will definately become regulars. Thank you for a wonderfull evening
